Please join us as Tony Sondhi presents the first webinar of our new series on non-GAAP reporting by publicly traded companies. Tony will discuss SEC regulations and enforcement, review common practices, and analyze queries from investors and analysts during earnings calls. 

This webinar is critical for members of financial reporting and investor relations teams of publicly traded companies and private companies considering IPOs. You will benefit from these webinars if you are currently involved in preparing, reviewing, or presenting financial statements and/or non-GAAP disclosures. Each webinar in this series will address several issues you, as a member of your company’s financial reporting team, need to understand about recognition, measurement, and disclosures related to non-GAAP reporting.

His time at PwC includes over ten years in their Audit and Advisory services managing SEC registrant audits, advising on M&A transactions, and helping clients achieve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

At Silicon Valley Accountants, Gabe primarily focuses on financial effectiveness; however, he also advises clients on financial reporting matters, assisting with mergers and integrations, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.

Gabe is a recognized expert in financial effectiveness and financial close optimization. He has spoken at The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Financial Executives International (FEI), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Ohio State Society of CPAs (OSCPA), and many other professional organizations.

Gabe teaches professional education courses on Mastering Audit Management, FASB updates, Revenue Recognition, Business Combinations, Software Revenue Recognition, COSO 2013 Framework, Leveraging Change to Create Process Improvement Opportunities, and Optimizing the Accounting Close and Financial Reporting.

Ashwinpaul (Tony) C. Sondhi, President, A. C. Sondhi & Associates, LLC, is the Spring 2012 Henry Kaufman Visiting Professor of Financial History at Yeshiva University in New York. He is currently a member of the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF) of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), its Agenda Committee, its 2009 Working Group on EITF 09-3 (SOP 97-2), its 2009 Disclosure Working Group on EITF 08-1, and its 2008 Working Group on EITF 08-1. He is also a member of the Investor Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), the Corporate Disclosure Policy Council of the CFA Institute.  He has served as a member of the 2008 Expert Advisory Panel on Fair Value of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He has been a member of the Global Financial Reporting Advocacy Committee of the CFA Institute; the Accounting Standards Executive Committee (AcSEC) of the AICPA and the Planning Subcommittee of the AcSEC; the Financial Accounting Policy Committee of the CFA Institute; the FASB Task Force on Accounting for Impairments of Long-lived Assets; and the Statement of Cash Flows Steering Committee of the International Accounting Standards Committee. Mr. Sondhi was also an advisor to the FASB on its project comparing U.S. and International Financial Reporting Standards.
